Halal Vitamins UK
More
At BioBodyBoost, every product we make is Halal certified — not as an afterthought, but as a founding principle. We believe faith-conscious consumers deserve the same access to premium, science-backed nutrition as everyone else, without compromise on ingredients, capsule materials, or manufacturing standards.
Halal certified vitamins & wellness — the full BioBodyBoost range
Every supplement in our range is free from pork-derived gelatine, alcohol-based extracts, and haram-derived additives. Our hard capsules use plant-based HPMC (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose) — suitable for both Halal and vegan diets. We manufacture to UK Food Standards Agency guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

What makes a supplement truly Halal?
According to the Halal Food Authority, a supplement must be free from: pork or pork by-products (including gelatine), alcohol or intoxicants, blood or blood by-products, and any ingredient derived from animals not slaughtered according to Islamic law. At BioBodyBoost, we go further — our entire manufacturing process is designed to prevent cross-contamination, and we use plant-based capsules across our full range.
Halal vitamins backed by science
Vitamin D3 — the NHS recommends all UK adults consider a Vitamin D supplement, particularly during autumn and winter. Our Lipovita D3 + K2 Drops use plant-derived D3 from lichen — not lanolin — making it both Halal and vegan suitable.
Omega-3 — essential fatty acids support heart, brain and joint health. Our OmegaBalance Omega 3 6 9 combines fish oil with flaxseed and sunflower oil in a Halal-certified softgel.
Ashwagandha — a 2019 randomised controlled trial published in PLOS ONE found ashwagandha root extract significantly improved sleep quality and reduced anxiety. Our ZenBlend is fully Halal certified.
Frequently asked questions
Are all BioBodyBoost products Halal certified?
Yes. Every product in our range is Halal certified. We do not produce any non-Halal products in our facility, eliminating any risk of cross-contamination.
Do your capsules contain gelatine?
No. All our capsules use plant-based HPMC — never pork or bovine gelatine. This makes them suitable for Halal, vegan and vegetarian diets.
Are your products certified by a recognised Halal authority?
Yes. Our products carry Halal certification and are manufactured to UK GMP standards. Certification details are available on individual product pages.
Can I find Halal protein powder at BioBodyBoost?
Yes. Our WheyPro Vanilla and WheyPro Chocolate are Halal certified whey protein powders, as are our full range of plant-based proteins including PeaPro and HyperHemp.
What is the difference between Halal and vegan supplements?
Vegan supplements contain no animal products. Halal supplements must additionally be free from alcohol-based processing and must meet Islamic dietary law requirements. At BioBodyBoost, our products meet both standards — explore our Vegan Wellness range.
