Contains MILK and SULPHITES. The CLA is milk-derived; sulphites occur in the konjac glucomannan. NOT suitable for vegans — suitable for vegetarians.
Contains caffeine — 1.5mg per capsule, from the green coffee bean extract. Not recommended for children or pregnant women.
A garcinia cambogia complex built around 1500mg of green coffee bean extract — the largest ingredient by a wide margin — with garcinia cambogia whole fruit, cinnamon, white kidney bean, bamboo, glucomannan and CLA. Chromium at 250% NRV carries the authorised claims.
Chromium Does the Regulated Work
Garcinia cambogia is the name on the label, but no authorised health claim exists for it in the UK or EU. What is regulator-assessed here is the chromium: at 100µg per capsule (250% NRV), it contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels and to normal macronutrient metabolism.
That is a considerably higher chromium dose than most weight-management formulas carry, and it is the honest reason to take this product.
Garcinia cambogia — technically Garcinia gummi-gutta — is a tropical fruit native to Indonesia, resembling a small green to pale yellow pumpkin. Here it is used as whole fruit powder rather than a standardised extract.
How Other UK Weight Management Products Compare
Single-ingredient garcinia capsules — one active, no claims. Widely sold and cheap, but garcinia alone with no chromium carrying an authorised claim, and typically no halal certification.
Green coffee bean capsules — one active. Chlorogenic acid products sold on their own, without the chromium, fibre or supporting botanicals.
Thermogenic fat burners — caffeine-led. High-stimulant products aimed at gym users, usually with 200mg+ caffeine per serving and no halal approval. This formula has 1.5mg per capsule.

How to Take It
Take 1 capsule, two to four times per day, or as advised. Take 30 minutes before meals. These capsules should be taken as part of a calorie-controlled diet designed to help reduce weight healthily.
For glucomannan at the EFSA weight-loss claim dose, BioBurn provides 1000mg per serving. For a vegan alternative without milk, An Apple a Day also contains chromium.
Is This You?
- You're following a calorie-controlled diet and want chromium for normal blood glucose and macronutrient metabolism
- You want green coffee bean at 1500mg standardised to 50% chlorogenic acid, not a token amount
- You'd rather have seven actives at declared doses than single-ingredient garcinia
- You want a very low caffeine level rather than a 200mg stimulant hit
- You are not vegan, and do not need to avoid milk or sulphites

Questions We Get Asked
Is it suitable for vegans?
No. The conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is milk-derived, so this product is suitable for vegetarians but not vegans. It also contains sulphites, which occur naturally in the konjac glucomannan. Both are declared as allergens by the supplier.
Which ingredient carries the authorised claim?
Chromium, at 100µg or 250% of the Nutrient Reference Value. It contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels and to normal macronutrient metabolism. Garcinia cambogia, green coffee and the other botanicals carry no authorised health claims of their own — we would rather state that plainly than imply otherwise.
How much caffeine does it contain?
1.5mg per capsule, occurring naturally in the green coffee bean extract. Even at four capsules daily that is 6mg — a fraction of a cup of coffee. The supplier still flags it, and it is not recommended for children or during pregnancy.
What is chlorogenic acid?
A naturally occurring compound found in coffee beans, present in much higher amounts before roasting — which is why green (unroasted) coffee bean extract is used. The extract here is standardised to 50% chlorogenic acid, at 1500mg equivalent per capsule.
Food supplements should not replace a varied diet or healthy lifestyle. Contains milk and sulphites. Contains caffeine — not recommended for children or pregnant women (1.5mg per capsule). Take as part of a calorie-controlled diet. Consult your GP before use if breastfeeding, taking prescription medication, managing diabetes, or if you have a liver condition.
